In 2002 our local SouthEast Tennessee Tolers, sister chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters, started painting maché eggs for Easter. These are given to children in the Pediatrics Ward at one of our local hospitals. Paint these for a special child, grandchild, shut-ins, someone who could use a little cheering up at Easter, or for your own enjoyment.

Three projects using landscape timber slices and one using a 4" by 4" post slice. Paint a Jack O' Lantern face on one side and a Pumpkin on the other. Top each with a raffia bow, dried nature and silk items. Use throughout the Fall season.

An intermediate to advanced acrylic project. The banner is crackled to resemble tree bark and has a blackbird on its nest. DecoArt Texture Medium was used on the window box to resemble woven basket canes. Wood Candy Corn rests among the floral pick in the box. *See above.
